Program 3648: What is your first name and the area where you live?

Iris: Iris. Littleton, Colorado.

Program 3648: Okay. Iris, can you please briefly explain what happened in your case?

Iris: Well, we had a medical situation and I couldn’t keep up with the payments.

Program 3648: Okay. Iris, how did you hear about your certified Program 3648 representative Mr. Craig Hagan?

Iris: The mailer.

Program 3648: Okay. How much better did you feel about your situation after visiting with Mr. Hagan?

Iris: We had hope.

Program 3648: You had hope. That’s good.

Iris: Yes.

Program 3648: Iris, sometimes the short sell process can be long and cumbersome. Can you tell me, how was your experience working with Mr. Hagan?

Iris: Absolutely wonderful! He continued to give us hope and the thing – he said it was his longest one he have, but he supported us and was a champ toward it and held our hand and got it done. Bottom line is, he said he would get it done. Gosh, much to our pleasure and surprise honestly, he did!

Program 3648: Good. What were some of the things that Mr. Hagan did to help relieve the stress of your situation?

Iris    He gave advice, good direction and was always available for questions.

Program 3648: Okay. Iris, what did you like most about working with your Program 3648 representative Mr. Hagan and the work that he performed for you?

Iris: I’d say his professionalism even when he was going through a lot of different house issues, he just kept in touch and we just stuck to his word.

Program 3648: Okay. Iris, I know there are a lot of foreclosure scams out there that are charging homeowners money and they don’t provide them any help and Program 3648 scam prevention efforts have done a lot to help homeowners understand that they can get real help for free. How did it feel for you to receive all of the help and the services that your Program 3648 representative Mr. Hagan provided at absolutely no cost to you?

Iris: Well, wonderful! How can you beat that?

Program 3648: Iris, what would be your recommendation to other homeowners that are considering a short sell using a Program 3648 representative such as Mr. Craig Hagan?

Iris: Stick with it. Don’t lose hope and hopefully you’ll get someone as good as we did.

Program 3648: If you could just state to me your first name and the area which you live.

Eugene: Eugene, [Myrtle Beach], South Carolina.

Program 3648: Okay. Mr. Carter, I understand that many people are finding themselves in a situation where they are unable to keep up with their mortgage payments. Could you please just briefly explain to me what happened in your case?

Eugene: First of all, we found that we had some major renovation issues that we thought was going to cost $10,000.00 and it cost $130,000.00, and with the real estate market still going down and my income continuing to drop, we eventually reached the point where we just could not keep up with the payments.

Program 3648: Completely understand. Thank you so much. May I ask how you heard about your Certified Program 3648 representative, Ms. Eve Olasov?

Eugene: She was the agent we bought the house with. She was our buyer agent when we bought the house.

Program 3648: Oh!  Okay. May I ask you how much better did you feel after visiting with her?

Eugene: Well, we had had it listed with her trying to sell it and of course when we ran in – started running into these problems, it became more and more evident that we were not going to be able to sell it, and I called her back and just said we were looking at short sale, and she said she had just started with this program, and it fit well into what she was doing at the time.

Program 3648: Right. I do know, Mr. Carter, that sometimes short sale processes can be long and cumbersome. How was your experience working with Ms. Olasov?

Eugene: It was fine, but I mean overall I thought it was handled fairly well.

Program 3648: May I ask what were some of the things that was done to help relieve the stress of your situation?

Eugene: Basically, knowing that the process was continuing to move forward. We didn’t really have to do a whole lot of legwork ourselves after that. It was moving along for the most part on autopilot. We didn’t have to do a whole lot.

Program 3648: Okay. May I ask was there anything you liked most about your Program 3648 representative in the work that she did for you?

Eugene: Well, she was easy to reach. Yes, she was very accessible to return – she would answer the phone or return calls quickly and get feedback relatively quick.

Program 3648: Good. I do know, Mr. Carter, a lot of foreclosure scams are out there that charge homeowners money, don’t provide them any help at all. Program 3648 Scam Prevention efforts, we have done a lot to help homeowners understand that they can get real help and that it is for free. May I ask you how it felt for you to receive all of the help and services that your Program 3648 representative provided at absolutely no cost to you?

Eugene: I thought they did a good job and overall, I mean I was pretty pleased with the program.

Program 3648: Would there be anything else that you may be wanting to add or inform me of that you did go through that I might not have covered throughout my survey, that you would like for me to know?

Eugene: No, that’s it. Overall, I thought it went very well as well as it could have.

Testimonial from Judy

J: My first name is Judy, and I live in Allen County,

JE: Ok, and how did you hear about Program 3648 and your certified Program 3648 representative?

J: I seen it on TV about helpin out, and I went online and filled out a thing, and they’re the ones that put me in contact with them.

JE: Ok, so you heard about some foreclosure help on television you and went online and googled it and you probably came across the Program 3648 website, filled out the information and Mark called you then.

J: Yes

JE: OK, good.  What happened?  How did you get into your situation?

J: My husband passed away, and I just couldn’t pay everything, the house, the car, the insurance, eat, heat, and I just couldn’t do it all.  I mean, you go from two incomes, everythings set up for two incomes to one and I just couldn’t do it all on what I was making.

JE: Well, I understand.  When Mark came out and visited with you at your home for the first time, how much better did you feel about your situation after speaking with him?

J: Well actually I was kind of scared and sad that I was going to lose the house, since I’ve been here since ’79.

JE: Oh, wow yeah.

J: But, I knew didn’t want it to go into foreclosure my credit wasn’t good anyway, and I didn’t want it to go any further, to some day maybe be able to buy another house, but I felt better about it, that I wasn’t just going to give it to the banks and me just be out on the street.  I felt better that it wasn’t going to ruin my credit anymore and that maybe I could get things worked out.

JE: How did it feel to have somebody like Mark coming in and being able to work on the problem for you so that you didn’t have to worry about it?

J: He was super, I mean just super.  Just explained everything to me, I didn’t ask a question that he didn’t explain to me that I understood it and how it worked and everything and then I didn’t have to worry about it after that, he took care of everything.  And I just, it was very relieving knowing it was going to get taken care of and I didn’t have to worry about seeing other than getting him the documentation that I needed to give that I had.  And I didn’t have to worry about it, he was very very helpful very knowledgeable about what to do and how to do it, and I am very grateful, he was very understanding and very nice.

JE: That’s great, that’s good to hear.  So, you may have touched on this a little bit, but what did you like most about your representative and the service that you received from him?

J: He didn’t make me feel like he was better than me, he didn’t make me feel like that he was here to take everything away, he just made me feel comfortable, he made me feel like my next door neighbor helping me out.

JE: Yeah, that’s good.  Now, once your foreclosure situation had been completely resolved, how did you feel once it was all done and obviously there’s probably some mixed emotions there but also knowing that he did all that work and it was at no cost to you?

J: It was great, plus I got some money back.

JE: Oh did you?

J: Yeah.

JE: Good.

J: It was great, it really was, it was just, I had no idea I was going to get any money back.

JE: The bank gave you some money back to help you?

J: Yeah, it was a load off my mind that I didn’t have to worry about you know, are they going to come in and foreclose tomorrow, am I going to lose everything, am I going to be out on the street not knowing where I’m going?  It was very very helpful.  And I told a couple friends about it, I don’t know if they you know, that was in the same, one of em I tried to get her to do it, but she waited too late and they foreclosed on her.

JE: Oooh, yeah.  Well good, well what would be your recommendation to other homeowners that might be considering doing a short sale by using a Program 3648 representative?

J: Not to wait too late.  If you’re at the stage that you’re going to lose your home anyway, why would you want to go into the foreclosure?  I mean, it’s just, that’s what I kept telling my friend, don’t let it go that far, go ahead and do what you gotta do now, cuz you know you’re going to have to move, you know you’re going to lose it anyway, so why go to the point that you know, that it’s, of course, everybody was scared that you gotta turn that in on your income taxes and stuff like that, but my tax person tells me that because of how long I’ve been in the house, I don’t know there’s a new thing how they file it and everything.  As long as I’ve been in the house and everything there’s a tax break for that.

JE: Well, actually Program 3648 was named after H.R. 3648 which was legislation passed by the federal government that states that no longer can the portion of your mortgage that they forgive be taxed.  So, there is no tax to that at all and you don’t have to turn it in to be taxed.

J: Well, that’s wonderful.

JE: Yeah, so you don’t have to worry about that at all.

J: That’s wonderful.

JE: Well Judy, I’m glad that we were able to be a small part of helping you and that your representative treated you with dignity and respect and helped you through the process.

J: And when I’ve told other people about it I’ve told em “Call Mark, this is who you need to call, he’ll help you with the rest of it”

JE: Yeah, he’s a great guy, we get a lot of feedback from a lot of the homeowners that he helps and…

J: He is, he is a super guy.

JE: Well that’s great, well Judy, I appreciate your time and I wish you the best.

J: Thank you.
